Following on from seemingly unresolved thread here:

Re: Problem with installing drivers for Radeon 7730M

I have a Dell Inspiron 7520 SE with switchable graphics Intel HD4000 and Radeon 7730M running windows 7 64-bit.

I've been unable to update my driver software from the original drivers supplied in 2012 which are hopelessly out of date.

The methodology of downloading an Intel HD4000 driver for the 3rdGen Intel did not work, and I was unable to update that at all.

I managed to update the ATI driver by using their new Crimson installer which automatically upgraded to version 15.2...something,

but sadly, after the reboot, the Intel HD4000 was offline until I rolled back the ATI driver.

I've tried downloading and installing the following versions of the HD4000 driver from Intel:

When engaging the setup.exe, I always get the same error saying it's the wrong driver for my OS

When trying from the Device Manager->Update driver->Browse I get the message "Your driver is up to date"

Can anyone help? Has anyone actually managed to update these drivers to any later version?
