not seeing native screen resolution Firepro W7000 on a BENQ BL3200

I am having Display Port Link Failure Error every-time I plug in a screen that it's native screen resolution is 2560 x 1440 but i can only see some output to the screen ( maximum of 1920 x 1080 ) when i connect it with a DVI cable. When I'm using any other cable I have no video output on the screen and it gives this error ( on the other screen ).

This happened after i changed the Motherboard from a Z87k to Z97k

So the cable is out of the question, it remains the motherboard or the video-card,

Any suggestions?
