Asus Strix Gaming Radeaon R9 Fury
I have three VS248 (ASUS 24") 1080p monitors and want to connect Eyefinity.
What are the proper connections?
The Strix R9 Fury has three displayport connections, one HDMI connection and one Dual DVI connection.
The Asus VS248 supports HDMI and a Dual DVI connection.
The R9 Fury can support a maximum of two legacy display connections, HDMI/DVI. For the third monitor you will need to use an active DisplayPort-HDMI adapter.
I would recommend connecting one display via HDMI, one by Dual DVI and the third via the adapter linked above.
Ok. I had it connected as followed...
Center monitor on the DP (left most looking at the card from the back of the PC)
Left Monitor on the DVI
Right Monitor on DP using an Active DP adapter on the card to DVI (on the monitor) (on the right most DP looking at the card from the back of the PC)
It all seemed to work correctly except it always wants to make everything cross all 3 screens (yes I have a thread about this also - no answers yet). So I was asking this in hopes that maybe if hooking it up in the "correct" configuration would help.
I will try the approach you suggested. Active DP, HDMI and DVI
You can configure extended using the Windows Display Properties.
Our Eyefinity document is here.
When in Eyefinity it only shows 1 monitor. No way to adjust multi-monitors
CAn you show some examples of what you mean please?
