Rise of the Tomb Raider and crossfire

Question asked by fistc70 on Feb 26, 2016

I recently installed the Crimson 16.2 drivers from the 16.1.1 and my crossfire doesn't seem to be working. I have used DDU to uninstall the 16.1.1 and installed the 16.2. Then I uninstalled again using DDU and reinstalled the 16.2. I used MSI afterburner and it only shows one of my GPU's actively being used. Maybe I am wrong in assuming their is even a Crossfire profile for ROTR, but I am sure hoping there is. At the moment, my FPS ranges from 30 to 55 FPS, with various settings....I am also trying to get a good balance of graphics and performance. Do I need to do something else to make crossfire work?

Another issue I have had with this 16.2 driver and a couple before it, when I go to advanced settings in Crimson and try to enable Crossfire, there is nothing on that crossfire enable page. I assume it still works because crossfire works when I play COD BO3.

Any help would be appreciated.
