Display keeps turning off - r9 390 Gaming 8G

I just bought a new MSI R9 390 Gaming 8G and have had nothing but problems with it from the moment I first installed it.,

Sometimes the display works, like when I left it on for 3 days downloading all of my old programs (also installed a new SSD, wiped my old HDD). Then my display decided to turn off a couple of hours later, and the only thing I can do is wipe the drivers and reboot. The Crimson edition won't install, it keeps getting stuck at 14% and crashing, so I have to update via Windows 10. Sometimes the drivers install properly, other times, my screen just goes blank again and I have to repeat the process. Once the driver does install properly, things run great. Played BF4 for a few hours yesterday without a problem, then left to watch a hockey game and came back to my display blank again.

Needless to say, this is one of the most frustrating issues I've ever had with a computer. Any help is greatly appreciated.
