I have two crossfire xfx r9 380 and when I turn on Freesync, Battlefield 4 is unplayable as frame rate jumps all over. It works fine with free sync off. I have asrock pro4s, i5 6600, 8 gb DDR4 and a nixeus 24" 144hz monitor. I am running the game on 1080 and high settings. I also have radeon 16.1.1.
Is there anything I can do to make Freesync work?
I'm not an expert on this, but I think it "IS" because it "CAN"!
What I mean is that this monitor has the ability to freesync from 30 all the way to 144 hz.
If you want to freeze it at a set FPS, you will need to lock freesync to your desired frame rate.
In Crimson, Go to GAMING~GLOBAL SETTINGS and look at the bottom for "FRAME RATE TARGET CONTROL"!
And select what FPS you wish to Freesync at!
