I will walk you through a clean driver installation and system clean up which should hopefully resolve the issue.
Please uninstall all AMD Drivers using the following guide.
After all AMD drivers are uninstalled from your system, please scan and repair your Windows install for any errors or corrupt files, which could be causing issues.
To do this on Windows 7, simply follow the guide.
Download and install the NetFrameWork 4.6.1.
Run Windows Update and ensure you’re checking for and installing all available updates, including non-critical and recommended updates. You may have to restart your computer several times and check for new updates upon reboot of your computer before it’s fully up to date.
Please download and run DDU. You can download DDU here. Follow the prompt to restart in safe mode and click Clean and Restart.
Download and install Catalyt 15.11.1 Beta here.
Please install our Graphics Drivers following this guide.
Has that resolved the problem?
Thank you for your reply to my request for help. I really appreciate it.
I have followed the steps as you suggested, and after the step 'Download and install Catalyst 15.11.1 Beta', my computer started to work as normal. Nevertheless, I tried to implement the last step, 'Please install our Graphics Drivers following this guide<https://community.amd.com/external-link.jspa?url=http%3A%2F%2Fsupport.amd.com%2Fen-us%2Fkb-articles%2FPages%2Fcatalyst-windows-install.aspx>'. On the AMD website, I downloaded and installed 'autodetectutility.exe'. However, it says 'can't connect to AMD web service. Please check your internet connection, and try again'. My internet connection was working fine though.
Should I leave it as it is as the computer is back to normal state or operation?
I am so very grateful for your help.
Leave it as it is. Glad it is working now.
Thank you again for your help.
