Dual Monitor Question: Why can't I use both monitors while Gaming

Question asked by ljm61 on Feb 15, 2016

Dual Monitor Question:

I'm using a Sapphire R9-285 Dual-X under Crimson:

Why can't I use my 40" Vizio monitor as my main gaming monitor and my secondary 17" (Both are 16:9 ratio) for monitoring my CPU & GPU temperatures and performance while gaming.

I have Corsairs"i" series "Intelligent Link" grade water cooler(H80iGT) and PSU(HX1000i) as well as wanting to use my Tri-X GPU control app so I can tweek it on the fly if needed.

The issue seem to be that when you enter gaming mode, all activity gets shunted to the main monitor if the programs are not the same source programs. Is it not possible to assign specific

programs to specified monitors for the purpose of using performance monitoring apps while gaming? And if not now, Can this be a future feature to be resolved?
