Hey guys,

I was wondering if I could get some help/suggestions on how to fix my problem.

I'm getting BSOD's at random(?) moments, with the same error message.

It has something to do with my video card, since it only happens when I have it installed.

It has just been replaced by warranty so it should be a brand new card.

BSOD in question:

Attempt to reset display driver and recover from timeout failed.

*** STOP: 0x00000116 (0xFFFFFA80079DA010, 0xFFFFF88007556E98, 0x00000000000000000, 0x00000000000000002)

System info:

Operating System

Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1

CPU

Intel Core i7 4790K @ 4.00GHz

RAM

8,00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 815MHz (9-9-9-24)

Motherboard

ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. MAXIMUS VII RANGER (SOCKET 1150)

Graphics

Sapphire R9 280X 3GB GDDR5 OC DUAL-X

Note: not sure if this is related, but I seem to have them more frequently (not exclusively) when using Skype?

I was thinking of perhaps updating my BIOS, but I don't know if that would help or has anything to do with it.

Thanks for the help
