390 Crashing Windows 10

Question asked by kirbydude65 on Feb 11, 2016

Hey everyone! I'm having a bit of problem with my new build and it's kind of disheartening. When I keep checking "Whocrashed" it keeps pointing towards the graphics card drivers and I was hoping this forum could be of help.

AMD Graphics Card

- PowerColor Radeon R9 390 8GB PCS+

Desktop or Laptop System

- Dekstop

Operating System

- Windows 10 Home 64 Bit

Driver version installed

- Radeon Crimson Software 16.1.1

Display Devices

-LG Flatron m2362d, 1920x1080 60Hz HDMI to HDMI

Motherboard

- MSI H81M-E34 Micro ATX LGA1150

CPU

- Intel Core i5-4460 3.2GHz Quad-Core

Power Supply Unit Make, Model & Wattage

- EVGA SuperNOVA GS 550W 80+

RAM

- 8GB DDR 1600

Describe your issue:

The issue ranges from games crashing (World of Warcraft, Overwatch Beta, League of Legends) to the computer completely BSODing, and on occasion having a big red screen as well. There seems to be very little rhyme or reason to why these occur and it's very difficult to force a reproduction. Most of the time I have to wait until the software or computer crashes and than do a cold boot.

Edit: Sometimes the computer will also crash while idling. From installing a game.
