What is going on?
Just reformated my PC and after installing the AMD drivers this error crashes the program occasionally. I've googled buy never found another person having the same issue.
Please disable your antivirus, in case it may have quarantined this file and it is generating this error.
Uninstall all AMD Drivers.
Download and install the NetFramework 4.5 and Visual C 2013.
Run Windows Update and ensure you’re checking for and installing all available updates, including non-critical and recommended updates. You may have to restart your computer several times and check for new updates upon reboot of your computer before it’s fully up to date.
As soon as you’ve completed the scan for any corrupt files and you’ve fully updated your Operating system and restarted your pc, download DDU, extract it and run it. Follow the prompt to restart in safe mode and then click Clean and Restart. You can download DDU here http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html
The next step is to download and install the Crimson 16.1.1 Hotfix drivers.
Step 1> Go to http://support.amd.com/en-us/download
Step 2> Scroll down to manually select your driver
Step 3> Select Desktop Graphics
Step 4> Select Your Graphics Card Family from the list (R9 Series)
Step 5> Select Your Specific Graphics Card (R9 2xx Series)
Step 6> Select your Operating System (Win 7)
Step 7> Click Display results
Step 8> Download 16.1.1
Has that resolved the problem?
I would recommend performing a System Integrity Check.
Run a command prompt as administrator and type SFC /SCANNOW.
It didn't find anything
Please respond with the following information.
The program worked fine before reformating so there should be no problems
Sorry for not replying but i was testing.
It has been around a week now and it hasn't crashed once so i guess it fixed.
Glad to hear it.
