I'm a professional poker player and need a third monitor to play on multiple poker sites. Unfortunately i have no idea whether or not my graphics card will support another monitor and i have searched my model number etc but can't get a definitive answer anywhere... I currently have one hooked up via HDMI and one through DVI. As stated in the title, the model is an AMD Radeon R9 200. I've attached the image too. Am i right in saying i'd need to get a display port>HDMI/VGA adapter for it to work?
Would really appreciate any help.
Yes, you need an Active DP to HDMI or DP to DVI dongle to connect another display (or a native DP display).
AMD generally only supports 2 non-DP displays + as many DP displays as the card supports.
Passive dongles will not help if you already have DVI and HDMI displays connected.
