I have an R9 380 that I'm trying to configure with my 3 displays. I got EyeFinity up and running, but it's created the most unusable desktop experience imaginable. On the two displays that EyeFinity has "combined", if I ever click the maximize button on a window, it goes across both screens. Why would I want it to go across both screens? I need to have windows open side-by-side. I need this setup for multi-tasking, and this implementation of 3 displays is annoying and impractical.
I simply want each of my 3 displays to be just that—3 independent displays. I've had this on other graphics cards in the past. What am I missing?
P.S. I have an active HDMI-to-DP adapter, as well as combinations of DVI, HDMI, and DP that I can use.
Update: I also cannot watch full-screen videos because it stretches the video across my two monitors, creating an awful viewing experience. There's no way that anyone can consider this a feasible solution to 3+ monitors. I need to know a better one.
