"watery"/"shimmering" ground textures in games

Hello, this is my first post here, so please excuse me if I'm in the wrong. I've searched the internet for a while and haven't found anything close to this problem I've been having. So, let me show you.

I've got myself a Powercolor R9 390 and I love it. However, with some games, I get "watery"/"shimmering" ground textures that move along with me. The games in question are Crysis and Doom 3, and others I'm sure. Here are some videos along with screenshots:

Doom 3:

In Doom 3, the effect is ridiculous. In the image below I'm looking at a rock.

Crysis:

It's not as intense in Crysis as Doom 3, but it's still enough to bug me.

Sorry for the videos being raw MP4, I don't have a YouTube account.

Can I fool around in the video card/game settings to fix this? If so, what do I change? Is this a driver bug? If anyone could shed some light on this that would be awesome.
