The r9 380 is a newer card. Why don't you offer any free games with its purchase? I relize I am too late now since I just purchased one but was wondering why.
Logicically, the person buying a low/mid ranged card would need persuading, games are a good way to say "look, Bioshock". Where's the high end cards are brought by people who want a card to game with, they don't need persuading and will probably have them games anyway.
If you buy a 380 your looking for your system to perform at its best with the latest and best specialised gaming hardware, your classed as a "serious gamer" and know what you want and expect. Low to mid range will be casual gamers, not spending every penny on their hobby and are given some mid ranged common games.
Free stuff is always nice, but you don't want or need the free tennis balls when you buy a high end racket, mid ranged yeah why not. Rubbish analogy but should explain it.
I think your a plant from the Game Developers Union.
Nope just someone wondering why almost every other card purchaser would get a game or 2 or 3 but not the 380.
Well I definattly would not say that the 380 was a true mid or high end gaming card. I sent it back because of lack luster performance. I should be getting my r9 390 tommorow. Lol and still no free game offer.. I am just stuck on amd I guess. Nvidia almost had me for the free game.
