Latest Crimson update made my R7 M260 really slow when first loading graphics.

Question asked by dcandal on Jan 26, 2016

So, since my last Crimson driver update (Driver Packaging Version 15.30.1025.1001-151204a-296874C) the performance of my R7 M260 decreased harshly. I'm running Windows 10 x64 on a i7-4510, got 8GB RAM.

Since this last update I have serious lag whenever something new "appears" on the screen.

Like the first render of everything lags a lot for a few seconds, but after that things get back to the usual. I never had these problems and I even tried to change some settings on the Crimson Control Panel (specially Shader Cache which sounded like would help me) to no avail.

When playing DotA2, for instance, I gotta scroll my screen through the map before the start of the game so I can play at the usual 60 fps.

So, any tips on how to solve that?
