The W600 does not support CrossFire. To combine displays from multiple GPUs into one single large surface, the outputs of the graphics cards need to be synchronized (GENLOCKED). Which means that the graphic card must be connected to an S400. The W600 doesn’t have the Genlock/Framelock feature and thus it would not support SLS or Displaywall.
FirePro W600 does not support GENLOCK feature and that’s why multiple FirePro W600 graphic Cards cannot be combined into one large surface. As an example, two FirePro W600 graphics cards can support up to 12 displays as independent (extended Mode), but not in SLS. However to combine all displays from multiple graphics cards into one single large surface, you would need a FirePro S400 to synchronize (Genlock) the outputs from FirePro Graphic cards.
The following Graphic cards have the Framelock and Genlock feature and can be connected to an S400 to create a Dsplaywall
Thanks for the answer.
How do you explain the video, using 4 firepro playing one video on all monitors?
Is it possible to make it work with an MT HUB? 1 firepro W600 + 1MST HIB with 3 outputs creating 9 outputs?
