Problem resolution monitor displayport
Hello everyone I wanted to share my experience that may have been found by other users and possibly solved.
Motherboard: M5A88-V EVO
Processor: AMD FX 8350 AM3 +
DDR3 memories: CMD16GX3M2A1600C9 2X8 16Gb
SSD: KINGSTON HYPER X 240 GB
Video Card: SAPPHIRE 6850 2GB GPU 775
Monitor: 3X PHILIPS 226V3LSB 1920X1080 DVI
Displayport: XFX ACTIVE SINGLE LINK DVI
They have this computer somewhere with WIN7PRO64BIT and I never encountered problems in any of the video configurations with either a screen with 5760x1080 Eyefinity mode 60HZ
In the month of June 2015 I upgraded to WIN10PRO64BIT and no problem until the update of November 2015 where I also updated the video card driver HD_6850 with version Crimson.
The Catalyst software tells me (ERROR Internet link DISPLAYPORT SYSTEM HAS DETECTED AN ERROR OF CONNECTION AND CAN NOT ADJUST THE RESOLUTION AND THE FREQUENCY OF UPDATE REQUESTS ON SCREEN DISPLAYPORT, SCREEN MAY NOT SUPPORT THE RESOLUTION CLAIM OR THERE MAY BE A PROBLEM WITH CABLE TO CONNECT TO A COMPUTER SCREEN) by setting the screen with 1440x900 DispalyPort and disappears from the available resolutions 1920x1080
All this leaves me a bit 'confused and decide to buy a new video card with a SAPPHIRE NITRO R9 380X WITH ACTIVE DISPLAYPORT STARTECH DP2DVIS SINGLE LINK DVI where all is well up when not active Eyefinity mode and after 10 minutes of operation, known a line that crosses all monitors from top to bottom which disappears disabling Eyefinity and bringing the resolution to 5760x1080 to 1920x1080 on each monitor.
Not finding answers and solutions I decide to return the card to the shopkeeper and the displayport that capacity is not the problem.
I'll be back to my old configuration with HD6580 and with the problem listed above.
I tried the two video cards to other computers and have the same problem!
Help! Anyone have any ideas?
