    text is blurry

    markinredding

      Installed a new  XFX R7 240. Windows 7 64 bit 2.8ghz 8gig memory.

First off the install was so SLOW that I thought the install had crashed/frozen the first few times. On the third try, I started task manager and could see that the install was downloading in the back round so I let it finish, real long time on a 13 mbs line. The install kept coming up as having errors and it generated an Report.xlm file. Searching help has no hints of what to do with the file. Looked through the file but nothing stands out. Pasted below.

Tried to do an uninstall but it never gets beyond 2%.

The number one issue is the text is blurry. When the install started there was a section where you picked different selections of text. I think I messed up there but can not get back to that interface to try something else.

It would be nice if the install had some graphics to let you know it was not broken. (Like I said, it was stuck on 2% for half an hour.) This took longer to install then AutoDesk 3D civil.

      Thanks in advance.

Please try temporarily disabling your Internet Connection and AntiVirus, prior to installing the drivers.

I have similar problem with blurry text, but no problems at all with installation. W7 64b, used for CAD and Graphics. What I have found is that if you disable the driver the text is perfect, but of course the prog's will not function. Zero'd the drive for a clean OS install and tried all the obvious tweaks. Need an answer soon please as its bad for my eyesight.

I have pic's of the difference if I can upload them.
