Alienware M18x in bios it shows a raid array but during boot it says there is none defined but it will boot in safe mode. After start up screen it just goes to a grey screen and does nothing.
So talk to Dell about it, it's their laptop, and is Intel based.
Thanks smart arse already did and it is an issue with my dual 6970's hence why the post is here. Rude
If you posted your full specs. in OP(may get a reasonable answer).
Not supply half arsed info, then complain.
Look I have posted a similar question before and found the people on the forum to be extremely helpful. It did not mater what the system was, I was asking if anyone had a similar experience and how they dealt with it. I also marked the issue as resolved before you two clowns came on the thread and acted out. And you really need to learn to understand what your reading if you think calling someone rude is complaining. Grow up and have some respect for other people. This community is about helping people when they are having problem not about being rude and condescending.
Good to know that your problem is resolved ?.
But myself, and possibly others, were unaware of your other post(which I only went looking for, re your comment on "marked resolved").
If your going to run 2 posts on a similar problem, would be nice if you linked them.
No offence intended, but no user attempting to offer advice(request info), should have to go looking for an OP's other posts(unless mentioned/linked).
Have a good one, and back to the wastelands I go.(I don't think I should take out the BOS patrol yet(might take PAM out first)).
the other post was for a completely different issue and was about a week or two before this one. This is the post that was marked resolved before anyone ever repllied to it. I agree with you it would have been absurd to run two posts without linking them. All I wanted was some help with the issue. Luckily I was able to get it fixed what is that saying " even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while". I just did not appreciate the rudeness there was no need for it. Hope you guys have a great year. Cheers!
