new crimson driver causes r9 270x video card crash

I had the version of CCC from Windows 10 automatic update deal, but it had told me update it to the new Crimson edition and I've had nothing but problems. I've had 7 full video card crashes on my MSI R9 270x Hawk, MSI wont answer my calls for help to return it and is being very hard to reach and I'm still in my Hardware warranty, but not for much longer. Everything ran fine on CCC version until update and I'm told it's a defect in my card, but how come I get the horizontal grid lines and the stuttering audio after just a driver update? I used auto detect and it said the R9 200 series driver. Does mine require a special one?

Crashes while playing any game at random times, even crashed twice while drafting this post. MSI wont talk to me, New Egg wont even try (bought through them) and the driver is apparently correct one. What can I possibly do to fix this?
