I tried both the auto detect and manual download but the process stops half way through. I need to update my HD7800 drivers on a Win 8.1 Desktop.
Never use auto detect. Disable your anti virus and anti malware, etc. while downloading and installing the drivers. When installing, disconnect the computer from the internet.
I can't download drivers as well. I don't have any firewalls or anti virus running and am struggeling to download a Linux driver for my Radeon HD 6250
Nothing happens when I press the "display results" button for this or any other driver (while searching manually or picking any random driver)
I have tried 2 browsers so far without any addons, midori and palemoon.
I just tried to manually choose and download the drivers for your card and have the same issue as you. Normally, using another browser and disabling any ad blocker solves the problem, but not this time.
You can select a driver from Guru3D > Videocards - ATI Catalyst Windows Vista | 7 | 8
In the end I managed to update the driver by using Windows auto update through the Device Manager, by right clicking on my graphic card and "update driver software".
Surprisingly enough it worked! Not my usual favourite way but at least my display works a lot better. (I had trouble with the HDMI display)
