AMD drivers

I purchased a new PC recently with

Windows 10

Gigabyte 990FXA UD3 R5

AMD FX-9590

Dual AMD Radeon R9 390

I have been in contact with the company that I purchased it from as well as Microsoft and they have been less than helpful with my issue.  When downloading, playing games, or letting the system go to sleep; the system freezes (or appears to since no keyboard and mouse input works) and the system requires a soft or hard reboot (depending on what it was doing) in order to unfreeze.

It was suggested that I try updating drivers so I found a utility to tell me what drivers to install but I cannot seem to find the drivers. Apparently I am missing the following drivers.

AMD PCI IDE Controller

AMD AHCI Compatible RAID Controller

I have found another forum thread talking about how to download and manually install the AHCI driver, but when I try, my system tells me that it has the most up-to-date driver installed.  The driver installed is the generic MS driver from 2006.  Is there a way to work around this to get the AMD driver installed?  And where can I find the missing AMD PCI IDE driver?  Thank you.
