workaround for r7 240 on vista

Is there any kind of workaround for the radeon r7 240 on Vista? I installed the video card and can't get drivers, but I'd really like it if I didn't have to upgrade my entire operating system. I know it's ancient but that's what we've got. Any ideas?

I'm not sure if it still works, but if you download the windows 7 drivers (any set should work, even the latest WHQL 15.12), run it to unpack them, open this file, change the highlighted part to 6.0, save, open device manager, select your video card, and manually point to that file it should install the drivers. There's no real difference between Vista and even 10 (they're all Windows 6.x), so there shouldn't be any problems.
