AC: Rogue crashes with Crimson driver

After updating to Crimson, AC:R crashes when the player begins to move. I can look around all I want, but after taking a few steps, the game crashes with the following error in Windows event log:

Reducing world quality settings to "normal" allows me to play the game as before, albeit with less graphical pop.
