A8-3870k RAM cache is being eaten by apparently nothing

I made a post about a week ago about having issues after I upgraded my APU from an A6 to an A8-3870k w/ Radeon 6550D (I have confirmed that the Motherboard can support this A8 [and I know that I won't be able to get much out of the overclocking on my PC, but I didn't buy it for that]).  After performing a clean install of the drivers, I have found that nothing has changed.  When I checked out my System properties though it said that I had 6GB or RAM, but only 1.48GB were usable.  I run Task Manager and it confirms that 74% of my memory is being used up, but I don't know what by.  Any ideas?  I've run CCleaner, Malwarebytes, did a system scan, scoured the start-up auto-run programs, and went through and ended needless background tasks to no avail.

Here are the details of what I am running:

HP Pavilion Model P7-1154

Windows 10 Home Edition 64-bit

AMD A8-3870k w/ Radeon 6550D

6GB RAM

Thanks!
