Eyefinity Weirdness

Question asked by mnm1298 on Dec 21, 2015

I recently upgraded to a XFX R9 380X and the new Crimson software, at the same time I lost a monitor since I don't have an extra displayport to dvi adapter yet.

As I was trying to learn the new Crimson software I setup a new Eyefinity group with the two monitors and everything works perfectly.  But with only two monitors the Eyefinity is kind of a pain since everything opens up (dialog boxes, chrome, word, etc) exactly in the middle of the two screens, 1/2 the window on each screen split by the bezel.  So, using the "disable eyefinity group" button I was able to shut the Eyefinity down.  But when it switches, one monitor comes on and the other monitor just stays black.

I've uninstalled, restarted, reinstalled, restarted, poked around in Crimson looking for a hidden check box or toggle but I can't seem to find anything that will allow me to have one monitor as the primary and extend the desktop to the other monitor.  Any suggestions would be great.
