After I update my AMD driver to v15.11.
enable the osu! then give me this window
LoadLibrary failed with error:87 parameter error
I find some people playing the osu! have the same problem.
Its an issue with OpenGL in Crimson drivers, its broken and any OpenGL applications will fail to load. Do a complete display driver uninstall with Display Driver Uninstaller 18.104.22.168
And then download the latest Intel Graphics drivers and find AMD Catalyst 15.10 Beta drivers from Guru3D, just do a Google search with Guru3D at the end and they should popup right away.
Its the only workaround for now until AMD fixes this issue, I have the same issue with my HD4000+HD8970M none of the traditional ways to deal with LoadLibrary issue works with Crimson as its not related to any of those but simply a broken OpenGL driver.
What does the Event Viewer state at the time of the crash?
sorry,I haven't found any log at the time I enable the osu!
What is OSU?
If you have a bug to report you can do so here.
In this situation it might be advisable to roll back to the last Catalyst driver that worked with this application.
osu is a popular music game.
I used the link that you provide to report the bug just now
I know this is late but here is a working workaround for the LoadLibrary issue, please try it with Crimson drivers.
The fix to this is to use the last working OpenGL files, I have extracted these from the last working http://https//mega.nz/#!XYEUCA7Z!M18axYW6VJBnp6t0XcLWrpeQgh7pR_gAA3eSpXoD7xc
Its a regular .ZIP file with the following inside:
Clean old drivers with Display Driver Uninstaller Download version 22.214.171.124
Install Radeon Crimson 15.12 (Do not use 15.16 Beta as I am not sure whether the files will work with it, the installation causes BSOD on my Windows 8.1, you could try if you like and report back)
Replace atig6pxx.dll, atig6txx.dll and atio6axx.dll in C:\Windows\System32
Remember to backup these files, you can simply just write atig6pxx.dll.BAK behind them and then copy the new ones from the .ZIP file, ignore the atiglpxx.dll, I do not really see any use for it in Crimson but I kept it just in case.
