Is there any way to force double buffering vsync in all games through registry? like running the games at half refresh rate all the time 60hz/30fps?
You need a program called Radeonpro . There you can add your game and set to "double vsync" to get half the fps of your refreshrate.
thats a completely different thing from the double buffered/triple buffered tho.
alot of games will allow double vsync , easiest way is simply cap the fps to 30 under global settings if you always want 30 fps
Thanks for the answer t77chevy. But the problem is all games on my system using triple buffering or some sort, because my fps won't drop to 30 fps after it is lower then 60 like it should. 30 fps cap is nowhere as good as half refresh rate, without vsync i get tearing in the middle of screen, with 60 hz vsync(locked to 30 fps) i get hitching, ghosting and jerkiness picture overall.
May I ask does RadeonPro work with the Fury X?
Thank you it works great. Yet i notice some wierd hitching sometimes but still it is far more superior to what i used before but i don't wanna configure every single game of my library and global settings doesn't seem to work for me. is it possible through registry or something so i don't have to run radeonpro every time and configure it?
