I have a fresh install of windows 7 64 bit but when I try to play an installed game my pc crashes and then I have to switch my power supply off wait like 5 secs then switch it back on to get my pc to start back up
What does the Event Viewer state at the time of the crash?
you meen the blue screen I don't get one
Not the BSOD, the Event Viewer.
Open Event Viewer by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking Administrative Tools, and then double-clicking Event Viewer. If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
Post the error statements or warning statements if you can. Hope this helps.

Follow the steps to try and troubleshoot what exactly is crashing the unit, it does sound like a PSU issue especially what you have posted. May I ask do you have a spare PSU to test out the theory?
