I hate the fact that I have an extra 390x laying around and my linux rig runs games much faster and less buggy
with my 660 ti lawl. Come on Amd come to the party. So lame at this point. I was so excited about the promised linux
improvement and we get this crap. The open source drivers beat this drive in some situations and that is just sad.
Well, if you have an extra 390X laying around and aren't using it, send it to me
I'll fight you for it!!!
Sorry, a lot of folks don't agree with you on that one. Installation went flawlessly for me on both my Win 8.1 and Win 10 systems, even before the hotfix. Significant speed-ups on both my FX-8370/R9 290 and FX-6100/R9 270X rigs.
Not sure whats up but Crimson has worked flawlessly for me. Not only that but I also gained some FPS across the board, not a crazy amount but a gain is a gain.
yeah maybe I was expecting toooo much I guess. An example of my frustration is a
game like alien isolation which play about 50-60 fps on the 660ti play at about 30 fps
on the 390x lol *** come on.
On the windows side I have to uninstall bit defender to install the crimson driver
Reinstalling an antivirus doesn't seem like that big of a deal to me.
Weird that Bitdefender would block an install. You'd think just disabling it would do the trick anyway. Reinstalling an AV is meh though.
lol yeah disabling bit defender still dosnt work you actually have to uninstall it lol
