You have to be more specific when you say "compatible".If you mean compatible as in working side by side,they are compatible,but ONLY with titles that run in Directx 12 and support explicit multiadapter,although the setup would be quite weird since these gpus are in different performance classes.If you want to use them independently,you can also do that since they both have wddm 2.0 drivers and windows can use them.Gaming might be a bit sketchy though.

Crossfire/Sli combo would be a nightmare build..
It is not a sli or crossfire build.Explicit multiadapter takes advantage of any graphics hardware within a pc.
Based on what is current, i'll go with ray_m.
I have to admit though, the concept is not something that I have considered.
