2 issues. 1st, crossfire disables occasionally on boot, running crimson drivers, win 8.1, 4k monitor with display port/cable. 2nd issue, desktop icons size change to very tiny, again occasionally on boot. any ideas?? thank
1st issue, disable ulps in windows registry
2nd issue is set text scaling in windows , right click screen , advance settings , make text different size ,adjust to your liking , and save
the 2nd issue is normally only a high resolution issue , if you're not running high res say 2560 x 1440 plus make sure vsr is not in use for desktop
Cheers. I have disabled ULPS, see how it goes.
I am running desktop res at 3840 x 2160, VSR is not supported (running 2 vapour x R290 x). by right clicking desktop i do not get a advanced option. However i have, screen resolution-make text and other items larger or smaller-let me choose one scaling for all my displays (not checked). So i am at a loss on how to proceed. Any help would be appreciated.
yes sir native 4k is above vsr so will be disabled , and select the make text and other images larger or smaller , and ofcource increase this value to what you like , i personally run 140% for my 4k monitor
Unfortunately disabling ULPS and changing text/other size has not work. My cross fire still disables and my icons rearrange themselves, what has happened tho, is the icon size even tho they rearrange position, they haven't change size to tiny 1 step closer.
