I have crossfired r9 270's and while playing games, it's only using 20% on the gpu on each.
League of legends it only uses 20%
and GTA V is only 50% on each.
why aren't both of them at 100% usage rate?
Are you using Crimson drivers?
Yes I am but it was like this before the Crimson drivers also
what cpu and what is its load while playing gta 5 , as its cpu bound game
I am using an 8320
that really shouldnt be a problem assuming you have a mobo with a powerphase big enough to power the 8 core fx . what are your complete system specs ?
what percentage of cpu /ram/pagefile is in use while playing gta 5 .
a quick thing to try is goto your documents, rockstar games / gta 5 and normally the very bottom file is an xml file , will be the only xml file in there and simply delete it " this stores graphic settings and any custom keyboard and mouse settings so take note first if you do not remember "
this files at times gets corrupt and causes issues and simply deleting just the xml file will force the game to make a new one and fixes the problem if it is to blame and doesn't hurt anything even if its not the problem
Radeon Software Version - 15.11

CPU Type - AMD FX(tm)-8320 Eight-Core Processor
PSU - 750w corsair
H80i watercooling kit
Motherboard - 990fx fatal1ty killer
Gpu usage on both of my cards 30-50% while playing GTA V.
Let me test deleting the file..
okay deleting the file improved the usage of the gpu's now they go from 20% up to 63%, but hover around 45% most of the time.
why does it say 4 cores?
and for some reason my computer isn't utilizing all of the ram like it did in windows 8.1.
something weird is that my ram speed was set at 1066 MHz for some reason let me fix that.
and what is page file? sorry i don't know.
pagefile is what most monitoring software that unfortunately most dont work currently with crimson ,l what software are you using for gpu utilization monitoring , and are you using vsync , if so what are your fps .
sorry getting late , I'm tired , pagefile is what software like msi ect, lists for monitoring game cache , I'm not sure what resolution you're gaming at but for me with gta 5 i use right at 8g system ram and just over 15g game cache with ultra settings at 3840 x 2160 resolution " 4k "
I was looking at radeon settings on my second monitor to get the current activity of my gpu.
I am gaming at 1080P with these settings
Any thing above these settings tend to get really laggy.
and the refresh rate is set to 60hz not 25hz.
if the game is holding 60fps that is your answer
I am getting 30 -50 fps
ok, will need to know exactly the cpu, ram, vram, gpu usage at the times of the say 30 fps drops and how much ram is installed in this pc
