I am in the Control Center under My Flat-Panels, selecting Custom Resolutions (Digital Flat-Panel). My monitor is 1920 x 1200 and I want to set the resolution to 50% (960 x 600). For some reason, my monitor is reporting it's minimum resolution as 800 x 600 and the next one up is 1280 x 720. These views distort on the screen. I just want to map one pixel up to four, going from the native 1920 x 1200 to 960 x 600. When I enter this as a new custom resolution and click the Verify button, I get message "The custom resolution settings are not compatible with this display. Reconfigure your settings and try again." There are additional settings down under the Detailed Timing section, but I don't know what those are for. Do I need to change those? Thanks! --Joe
Custom Resolution feature is for advanced users. AMD does not provide technical support on this feature. Please read Terms and Conditions on the first page. There are plenty of information online by which you can figure out the correct values.
