i have just installed an AMD card on my pc and after this my system audio is not working and its showing AMD HD audio ,
can any one help me to get back to my default audio ! coz i am not using HDMI
If you are using windows 10,(or any other version of windows) then right click on the speaker icon in the lower right corner of your display, and change the default playback from HDMI or AMD HD to speakers. That will allow your audio to work properly.
Thanks for your feed back sir,
but this is where the real problem starts,
there is amd sound available there but when i took out this new display card from my system audio comes back,
my default audio is not even displayed any where
Right Click Speaker Icon at located bottom right of the screen.
Then select Playback devices. There a list of all Audio Devices will appear. Select the one you want and hit Set Default.
its not even displayed any where
Click Start then Run > "mmc devmgmt.msc"
Tell us what you see under Sound, video and game controller sub-menu or take a screenshot.
Also would be good to know what Motherboard you have and if you are using the on-board sound card.
Thanks, problem was already solved, plugging the new card was changing my BIOS config i have adjusted it
Thanks again for your help
