My laptop (HP Pavillion) has an AMD Radeon R6 display adapter. How can I enable hardware acceleration?
I meant to say that I'm on Win10.
Please can you provide your full system specifications including laptop model number?
Hardware acceleration is automatically enabled once you have installed a compatible AMD graphics driver.
Here's a shot of my system info.
Did you give up?
Here's a screen shot showing the driver info for the graphics card.
The PC lists "Product Number": N9E08UA#ABA. I have to assume that's Model number.
Thanks. You have a AMD driver installed.
What makes you think hardware acceleration is disabled?

THe fact that when I attempt to use the Emulator in Android Studio (to develop an Android App), it refuses to run telling me that it requires hardware acceleration and that I should try again after I've enabled it.
