Display freezing in every game

Question asked by huskell on Dec 3, 2015

Every game I try to play will contantly freeze. I tried to record a video, but it won't show the freezes on it. In-game the FPS can be 110-140 and it still freezes with no frame drop.

The freezing occurs every 2 seconds or something and last for about 1 second each, making any game unplayable. Sounds still plays normal and after the freeze the game tries to replicate every movement I did during it. Tested with Fallout 4, CS:GO, Osu!, Rage, Lords of the Fallen...

My hardware is a notebook, Inpirion 15 4470 by Dell. Every power setting is at "maximum performance", switchable graphics included.

Seems to be somewhat related to the driver, but I'm no expert.
