Windows 10 does not detect my GPU

Hello,

I have upgraded Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 yesterday, and it does not see my GPU. It only shows a Microsoft Basic Display Adapter. I have found several solutions to this issue, but none of them applied to me.

I have tried to update the drivers via the device manager, I have tried to install the Radeon Crimson package but then I get the error "We are unable to find a driver for your system. No supported AMD hardware was detected.".

Whenever I check for updates with Windows update, it finds 'Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. driver update for AMD Radeon R9 200 Series' every time and it installs 'successfully' every time as well. So somehow I think this driver gets rejected in the same way as the Crimson package is.

I use Windows 10 via Bootcamp on an iMac, the card I use is AMD Radeon R9 M295X 4096MB, and it's working perfectly fine in OSX.

Thank you in advance for your assistance!
