"Blurred" fonts in many apps since upgrading to Windows 10

I have an AMD Radeon HD5450.

Since I upgraded to Windows 10, the fonts of several application menus are displayed in a kind of blurred mode, highly uncomfortable.

The problem does not occur with all applications: MS Word and Excel are ok, for example. Applications with problem include Picasa3, Nikon Software (View NX2 and Capture NX2), Skype, and basic apps such as Windows Peripheral Manager. I am not being comprehensive here, just trying to give a few examples.

Btw the text of this post is displayed correctly.

The running driver is version 15.201.1151.0 (dated 21/08/2015), considered up-to-date by Windows.

My screen is an ASUS VW220D, not recent but working fine otherwise. In the peripheral manager appears as "generic plug-n-play monitor", with an old driver 10.0.10240.16384 (dated 21/06/2006) but apparently up-to-date.

Any advise about how to fix the issue?

Thanks !
