I have a an a10 7700k cpu and running speed fan on it and it says while idling that is it 85c is this too high,i'm runing a coolermaster water cooler and help will be much appreciated thank you.
Answered my own question its turned off and wont come back on
well I'm too late but yes that temp was way too high , I'm not a fan of the aio coolers myself as I've had a couple give out on me before but I was lucky enough to catch it before permanent damage was done to my system , most 240mm rad or less loose to good air coolers which will never leak or pump fail with no warning , don't get me wrong I personally love and use loops myself but only use both custom quality parts and dual d5 pumps .
my youngest pc has an Athlon x 4 860k and a cheap evo 212 cooler and stays under 60c no problem , that cooler cost $28 on amazon
Maximum temperature should be 65c, try to keep it below that.
Did you install the stock heatsink correctly? The following document will help you with an install, as will this video.

yeah i installed my water cooling heat sink a while back correctly and after looking on the inside a cable had come lose so my pump wasn't circulating to cool my system, it's now back to 31c while browsing and as far as i know everything is runnning fine again
Great to hear.
yeah it was driving me up the wall working out what was up and no it was juist a cable
I know the feeling. This happened to my H110. I knocked the pump wire loose while doing something else.
