It was the major update just pushed out by microsoft, I'm using win 32 bit windows, and the newest amd drivers which were pushed out by microsoft.
remove the drivers pushed by the update , don't forget to use ddu in safe mode after , install the latest drivers for your os and bit .
side note , for gaming you really want a 64 bit os as several games will only work for the 64 bit and not the 32 bit .
hm, not going to do that just to fix catalyst.

Yes 64 bit next time, but I don't feel like reinstalling all my apps and settings just yet. There was no actual way to directly upgrade a previous windows 32bit to windows 10 64bit, it required a clean install.
to ever upgrade ccc you always have to delete the old drivers first before you install the new , so waiting for another driver besides the one just released will not help this issue .
