Is there any way to limit max fps in linux using fglrx driver and Catalyst Control Center?

What limit are you aiming for?
I believe setting Vsync to always on would lock it to your monitors refresh rate.
I think in my case its either monitor got issues or Vsync locked at bad refresh rate. I've got some issues with old monitor, when I limited refresh rate of compiz I got rid of them for most of time. The issues appears when I'm trying to use applications that use OpenGL (like games, 3d modeling software etc). So I want to limit the fps "globaly" for all apps. At least until I but new monitor.
