I made a new Windows 7 x64 SP1 Home Premium installation and then downloaded the latest chipset drivers for the Gigabyte GA-F2A88XM-DS2 (rev. 3.2) motherboard. The CPU I use is an AMD A4-6300. Unfortunately, there seems to be a problem with the installation of the AMD graphics drivers because my AMD Radeon HD 8370D shows up with a yellow warning sign in the device manager and my monitor is not recognized. The main problem is actually with the monitor: it's a BenQ G2420HDBL monitor, but it is only recognized as a Standard PnP monitor and I cannot set the correct resolution for the monitor. The monitor does not show up in the device manager, even if I click 'show hidden devices'. Also, I cannot install the monitor drivers manually because the 'properties' of the monitor cannot be selected because it shows as standard PnP monitor.
I have reinstalled the latest AMD Catalyst graphics drivers manually, to no avail. The monitor is connected via a DVI cable to the motherboard.
Thank you for your help
