Very nice rig!
How is the H80i working out for you on that cpu? I was looking at that one but ended up with the H105 because I was worried about the 220W TDP on that CPU. My heavy load Temps are staying at / under 62*C with it bumped up to 4.9Ghz currently on my AMD Power House. Also coming from a fan of the FX9370, keep a eye on your mobos power delivery. Before I got my Crosshair V Formula-Z I actually melted my Asus mobo power delivery caps off the mobo. One of the joys of having a 220W TDP CPU haha. Any way, game on brother!
Very nice looking rig! I'm also wondering how the H80I is going for you. I switched from mine to a custom loop because the temps on my 8370 weren't where I wanted them to be.
Temps with the H80i stay within an acceptable range for me. I would've used an H100 (double-wide) but the case doesn't actually fit it. I don't get cold air coming out of it (set to exhume heat) but I haven't had a single load issue.
Idle around 45C, load around 55-65C (gotta look again tonight when I go live, I'll try to keep an eye on it and report back.
I haven't really gone into tweaking it because I'd perpetually had issues with heat with my original Zalman cooler and at this point stability under load is my main concern (streaming on a schedule)
Good call on the Crosshair V Formula-Z, also thefuzz1542. I actually went through two of those already. First one stopped overclocking the RAM (stuck at 1333MHz and New CPU Fan error), second one stopped powering on, Amazon Prime 1-day shipped my current board and no problems since, though no more 2400MHz, which makes me a little sad.
For all of its cool features, my experience with the Crosshair V Formula-Z board was not very good at all.
