Is my HP Pavilion dv6-3123sa compatable with windows 10?

Hey AMD community

I upgraded my Pavilion dv6-3123sa to windows 10 a few weeks ago, as the windows 10 upgrade assistant compatability report indicated that it compatable.
This laptop has switchable graphics, i'll list the specs at the bottom of this post.

To put it simply, this laptop has AMD CPU + INT Graphics // AMD Discreen graphics

Troubleshooting these driver issues is difficult, all of the results I get describe issues with intel+AMD switchable setups

I'm back on a clean install of windows 7 now, as I had driver issues after the switch, presumably with the switchable graphics.
(As a side note, it's not a hardware issue, everything seems to work fine now I'm back on W7).

I'd preferably like to use windows 10 though, I really like it.

My issues:

The CCC drivers (that windows 10 update installed automatically) killed performance, causing the animations (start menu, windows) to run at ~5fps, and generally killed performance
Looking at the HP website, their driver section says that graphical drivers will be 'delivered via windows update', and the HP website says this laptop hasn't been tested with windows 10.

I had a CCC error (dialog box) appear every now and then, saying something along the lines of "incorrect drivers may be installed", and the ati .exe controlling the screen brightness (atibmon.exe?, from memory?) appeared too.

The brightness buttons on the laptop didn't work either, and catalyst control center was missing a few options (powerXpress?)

As a side note:

I've updated my BIOS to the most current version released by HP, but there appears to be no option to select a 'fixed' graphics mode.

I've also tried ubuntu on this laptop, performance was fine although I had in issue with the screen flashing every few seconds.
The issue might be unrelated, details here

So I have some questions:

Is the windows 10 compatability report a de facto indicator of compatability?

Is this this graphics setup / this laptop capable of running windows 10?

^^ If not, will there be any future updates to the legacy drivers, to make it compatable?

^^ if so, could you recommend any alternative drivers that I can install?

Thank you in advance for any responses

-Alex
