AMD Fan Control

Hi, so I've been experiencing a problem with my AMD R9 380 4gb gpu with it getting too hot and causing the game to crash. I solved this issue by enabling AMD Overdrive and manually upping the fan speed to 70%. It is pretty loud though at that high, but it needs to be so that I can play games without it getting too hot. When I don't have manual fan control enabled, the fan speed doesn't go over 50% for some reason. Is there a way to make the fan go higher than it is set to do automatically so that I don't have to enable overdrive everytime I want to play a demanding game? For instance, it is only going up to 50% usually even when the gpu is being maxed out graphically. How can I change that to 70% without using manual control?
