4k @ 60 Hz

Question asked by psynumb on Oct 18, 2015

I have R9 290X and I'm using this adapter Amazon.com: aLLreLi 4Kx2K (DP1.2) DisplayPort to HDMI Male to Female Adapter Cable (Gold-Plated Connector, 0.66 Feet): E…  to convert DP signal to HDMI and (hopefully) get a 4K signal @60 Hz since I learned from the internet that the HDMI 1.4 port that comes with 290X can't outpot  4K@60Hz. Both AMD catalyst and Windows 10 gave me the 60 Hz option, but both the TV (LG UB850T) and Fraps are capped at 30Hz no matter what I do. I'm using the cable that came with the TV specifically for HDMI 2.0.

CAn you please help me with this?
