PC can't boot using DisplayPort Monitors

I have a HD 7900 series graphics card, which has been running a three screen Eyefinity display.  I have recently replaced the cables for 2 of the monitors, with Display Port cables, leaving the third as DVI and updated the driver..  The system will no longer boot when the DPs and the DVI are connected; instead I get a message saying "Reboot and select proper boot or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key".  If I disconnect the 2 DP cables and boot with just the DVI connected it boots OK and I can then re-connect the 2 DP cables and use the system as normal.  Anyone any suggestions?
