With mixed rotation in a PLP setup my monitors always default to their native resolutions

I have a PLP setup. 40" TV landscape screen in the middle and 2 x 24" monitors in portrait at either end. For the graphics to all line up I run the 40" @ 1920 x 1080 and the Portrait screens at 768 x 1080. This provides me with a perfect span across the screens of 3456 x 1080. Now, I bought an R9 Fury for it's eyefinity ability to span over mixed dimension and mixed rotation monitors, my problem is that it always sends all of my monitors into thier default resolutions thus ruining my PLP screen matching. Is there any way around this or is it just a limitation of the software. Seems odd that I can't individually adjust screen resolutions?
